-Great music performed well can not only entertain, but also move, inspire, comfort, delight and empower people – that’s my ambition, that’s my call. (Mateas)
Performing Artist & Songwriter Mateas (Mathias Nordström) is a professionally trained singer, musician and musical theater artist from Stockholm, Sweden who has done over 800 performances – as a solo artist, singer in bands and vocal groups, and as a singer/actor in musical theater productions.
Besides music, Mateas has a passion for yoga, personal development, positive environmental impact and philanthropy, which sometimes are reflected in his lyrics. For ex:
-The purpose of the song Will we make it in time from the album Mask off is to inspire people to live in a more environmental friendly and sustainable way.
-In the song Elements of love my ambition is to encourage the listener to reconnect to our true essence, which I believe is love.
-Mask off is a song about being genuine and vulnerable.
